If a student has successfully completed his or her education, he or she may apply for a 1 year extension of the residence permit for study based on “an orientation year” policy.

This orientation year enables a graduate to seek employment. Furthermore, this residence permit allows the free access to the labour market. If you have found employment, a work permit is no longer needed.
