Travel freely to all Schengen countries for 3 months maximum
The visa, issued by the Dutch embassy or consulate, is a Schengen visa. A Schengen visa allows its holder to come to the Netherlands for a maximum 3 months and allows you to travel freely whitin the Shengen area. Notice: In case the visa is issued by Dutch authorities, we strongly suggest that you choose the Netherlands as your first travel destination.
Applicants who apply for a Dutch visa are required to have a reference in the Netherlands. This reference can be a relative who invites the applicant or the (prospective) partner or spouse.

When you come to the Netherlands for vacation with a visa, you need to have documents that indicate the location where you will stay and proof that you will return to your country of origin after your stay.
